IT Teacher – Head of Department (HOD)

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic IT Teacher – HOD to lead the Computer Science department and ensure effective implementation of digital education across the school.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, guide, and supervise the IT teaching team for all grades.
• Plan, design, and implement the yearly curriculum for Computer Education.
• Teach higher classes and support teachers in delivering IT concepts effectively.
• Integrate modern technologies like Coding, AI, Robotics, and Digital Literacy into the curriculum.
• Monitor syllabus completion, lesson planning, assessments, and student progress.
• Conduct training programs for teachers on computer applications, digital tools, and smart class usage.
• Oversee computer labs, maintenance, software updates, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with the admin/IT support team for installations and system requirements.
• Guide students in computer-based projects, exhibitions, and competitions.
• Prepare departmental reports, maintain documentation, and ensure smooth operations.
• Support digital setups during school events, presentations, and technical requirements.
• Ensure safety, discipline, and proper lab protocols.

Educational Qualifications

Any one of the following qualifications is required:

• MCA (Master of Computer Applications)
• M.Sc Computers / M.Sc Information Technology
• B.Sc Computers
• B.Tech (Computer Science / IT)
• B.E. (Computer Science / IT)
• Any equivalent degree in Computer Science / IT

Additional Skills / Preferred Expertise:

• Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• Data Science & Analytics
• Programming Languages (Python, Java, C, C++, etc.)
• Database Management Systems
• Basics of Networking & Hardware
• Knowledge of Educational Software, MS Office, Scratch, Code.org, etc.

Experience

• Minimum 5–8 years of teaching experience.
• Experience as a Coordinator or Department Lead will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
