Computer Scientist - II (Java backend)

In the role within the Digital Video Audio (DVA) group, you will work on a portfolio of top-tier products that cater to professional customers on desktop, mobile, web, and cloud platforms. Your responsibilities may include developing cloud services for video workflows and integrating backend infrastructure and cloud services into video applications and enterprise API offerings. Your day-to-day tasks will involve developing new features, maintaining existing product features throughout the development cycle, participating in product design, estimation, risk analysis, and debugging. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to determine project requirements and design specifications will be key. Additionally, you will be expected to write clean, scalable, and efficient code following industry standards, conduct code reviews for flawless execution, and debug systems to ensure minimal downtime. To succeed in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience. Proficiency in data structures and algorithms, as well as experience with object-oriented languages like Python or Java, is essential. Familiarity with Backend frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, AWS, Docker, and REST will be beneficial. Your ability to work independently, proactively, and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, while possessing excellent communication and collaboration skills, will be key to your success.
