Job Description

Role Overview: As a Software Development Engineer (Front-end Engineer) at Adobe, you will be part of the team working on the development of Adobe Guides, a document processor designed for writing and editing large or sophisticated documents. You will play a key role in developing new features, maintaining existing features, and ensuring the high quality of the software. Your expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies will be essential in contributing to the success of the Guides product. Key Responsibilities: - Conceptualize the product, design, and develop application software. - Conduct unit testing, effort estimation, and risk analysis of projects. - Implement new features and provide fixes/workarounds for problems. - Improve space-time performance and enhance usability/reliability. - Collaborate with the team to take the product through the entire life-cycle. Qualifications Required: - B.Tech/M.Tech degree in Computer Science from a reputed institute. - 8-12 years of proven experience in software development. - Strong fundamentals in design, data structure, and algorithm. - Proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, React/Angular, and data structure and algorithm. - Hands-on experience in writing reliable, maintainable, and secure code. - Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skills. - Good understanding of object-oriented design and product life cycles. - Technical depth in operating systems, computer architecture, and OS internals. - Exposure to Windows Programming, MFC, and WIN 32 would be preferred. - Knowledge of HTML and JavaScript is a plus.
