Job Description

As a Data Processing Specialist, your primary role involves identifying and correcting file and system errors, performing data processing operations as per the business production schedule, and executing backup procedures to minimize data loss risks. You will also be responsible for maintaining computer equipment and inventory, and coordinating repairs when necessary. Collaboration with Programmers and Systems Analysts to ensure testing environments are coordinated and system problems are resolved is a key aspect of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Manage processing logs and run procedures manuals - Answer user questions and troubleshoot problems - Notify maintenance personnel of system malfunctions - Monitor and schedule jobs, oversee nightly updates, and submit batch processing jobs manually - Run application performance management scans Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in data processing operations - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities - Knowledge of backup procedures and system maintenance This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule that requires in-person work at the designated location.,
