Computational Designer (Architect)

We are seeking a skilled and creative AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Grasshopper, Rhino, and Parametric Sheet Metal Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD design, with proficiency in all mentioned software. As a Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings, models, and prototypes to support various projects and initiatives within our organization. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the development of innovative designs.

Key Responsibilities:

? Utilize AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Grasshopper, Rhino, and Parametric Sheet Metal

software to create 2D and 3D models, drawings, and prototypes according to

project specifications.

? Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand

design requirements and translate concepts into technical drawings and models.

? Ensure accuracy and precision in all design work, adhering to industry standards

and best practices.

? Conduct thorough reviews and evaluations of design prototypes to identify

potential issues or areas for improvement.

? Generate detailed documentation, including bill of materials (BOM), assembly

instructions, and technical specifications.

? Participate in design reviews and team meetings to provide input and feedback

on design concepts and project timelines.

? Stay updated on the latest advancements in CAD technology and design

methodologies to enhance skills and knowledge.

? Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues during the

development and production phases.

? Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure seamless

transition from design to production.

? Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

? Bachelor's in architecture or related fields

? Proven experience working as a CAD Designer, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

? Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Grasshopper, Rhino, and Parametric Sheet Metal software, with strong skills in 2D drafting and 3D modeling.

? Excellent understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.

? Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.

? Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work.

? Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work

effectively in cross-functional teams.

? Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing design

challenges.

? Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems is a plus.

? Certification in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Grasshopper, Rhino, and Parametric Sheet Metal is preferred.
