Compiler White Box Testcase Developer

Role Overview: You will be part of an exciting role at AMD where you will have excellent exposure to all the latest AMD technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Performance analysis and software optimization - Building and deploying software for advanced HPC, data science, Virtualization, and machine learning platforms - Defining, developing, and executing regression test models while tracking the results - Driving innovation in production software environments - Combining advanced software engineering skills with a drive to explore novel approaches for solving important problems in heterogeneous computing at large scales - Evaluating and reviewing existing processes to continuously optimize the workflow Preferred Experience: - Taking responsibility for the quality and timeliness of results for a portion of the project - Defining, developing, and executing functional/performance/black box tests and integrating them with the automation infrastructure - Porting existing applications on Linux and Windows to make them work with LLVM compiler - Developing compiler front end and backend tests for C, C++, Fortran - Investigating and reporting compiler front end, compiler back end, and optimization bugs - Defining test plans and testing new compiler front end and back end features - Testing new language features in C, C++, Fortran, OpenMP - Having compiler development/bug fix experience - Being a good team player, quick thinker, proactive, adaptable, and approachable - Communicating effectively both in written and oral forms - Being well-organized and capable of multitasking with diligence to complete tasks - Acting as a technical evangelist Qualification Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent (Note: The benefits offered are described in AMD benefits at a glance.),
