You will be working as a Registered Nurse with the Blood Borne Virus outreach team, playing a key role in the Glasgow Enhanced Community Homeless Outreach (GECHO) team. This position requires you to optimize access to treatment and care for individuals diagnosed with a Blood Borne Virus who have a history of intravenous drug use. Your primary location will be at the Brownlee Centre, with work also carried out from Hunter Street Health Centre. To be successful in this role, you must be registered with the NMC, possess a degree level education (or working towards one) in a relevant specialty, and have experience working in a similar field. You should have the ability to engage effectively with individuals who may not prioritize health or healthcare. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are vital as you will collaborate with various agencies. A full driving license is a mandatory requirement for this position. Working hours are 37 hours per week, from 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Thursday, and 9 am to 4.30 pm on Fridays.
