Assist in the preparation and cooking of tandoor dishes, including kebabs, naan, roti, and other clay-oven specialties.
Operate and maintain the tandoor oven in a safe and efficient manner.
Prepare marinades, sauces, and mise-en-place as per recipes and instructions.
Ensure proper storage and handling of food items in compliance with food safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the tandoor section and overall kitchen.
Follow all health, hygiene, and safety guidelines.
Assist senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and food preparation tasks.
Minimize waste and contribute to cost control by following portion sizes and inventory practices.
Communicate effectively with other kitchen team members to ensure timely service.
