Job Description

As a Kitchen Assistant, your role will involve washing, peeling, and chopping fruits and vegetables, as well as preparing cold items, charcuterie, sandwiches, and garnishes. You will be responsible for setting up workstations with necessary ingredients and equipment, following recipes, portion sizes, and presentation specifications, and monitoring food quality. Additionally, you will be required to wash dishes, sanitize workstations and tools, maintain personal hygiene, and comply with all safety rules. Key Responsibilities: - Washing, peeling, chopping fruits and vegetables - Preparing cold items, charcuterie, sandwiches, and garnishes - Setting up workstations with necessary ingredients and equipment - Following recipes, portion sizes, and presentation specs - Monitoring food quality - Washing dishes and sanitizing workstations and tools - Maintaining personal hygiene and following all safety rules - Controlling stock and monitoring food levels - Rotating inventory and reporting needs - Assisting other chefs, receiving instructions, and working efficiently with the kitchen brigade Qualifications Required: - Diploma preferred - 3 years of experience in Cold Kitchen (preferred) - 3 years of experience in Culinary (preferred) The company provides food and paid time off as benefits. This is a full-time, permanent position located in Thrissur, Kerala. Reliable commuting or planning to relocate before starting work is preferred.
