You will be working at Gurgaon Sector 15 with a 6 days working schedule and rotational off. This is a full-time position at Defence Bakery, an esteemed establishment in Delhi's culinary scene since 1962. Defence Bakery takes pride in its rich heritage, quality products, and commitment to excellence, which has led to its consistent growth over the years. In 2018, Defence Bakery expanded its offerings by launching Alma Bakery and Cafe in Noida, aiming to deliver culinary delights with a focus on innovation, a people-first approach, and legacy products and services. Your role will involve assisting in the preparation of ingredients for continental dishes, such as slicing, dicing, and marinating. You will follow recipes diligently to cook and plate food items as instructed, ensuring proper portion control and attractive food presentation. Your responsibilities will include preparing a variety of continental dishes like pasta, grills, sauces, soups, and salads, while maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Adherence to food safety and hygiene standards is paramount at all times. As part of the team, you will work closely with other members to ensure timely food preparation and service, supporting senior chefs during busy hours. Additionally, you will assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and informing senior chefs of any shortages. Participation in training sessions and willingness to learn new recipes and skills are expected. The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum educational qualification of 12th pass, with a preference for a diploma or degree in a culinary-related field.
