Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Commi - 1 with good knowledge of cakes to join our team in the baking industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cake decorating and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Roles and Responsibility

Assist the head chef in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
Prepare and bake a variety of cakes, including birthday cakes, wedding cakes, and other desserts.
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of ingredients, recipes, and techniques used in cake decorating.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
Maintain high standards of quality and presentation when plating and serving dishes.
Participate in menu development and contribute ideas to enhance the overall dining experience.

Job Requirements

Good knowledge of cakes and cake decorating techniques is essential.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills are necessary.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools is required.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality are crucial.
Must be able to lift up to 25 kilograms and stand for long periods.
