COMM and UDS Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a COMM and UDS Engineer, located on-site in Bengaluru. The COMM and UDS Engineer will be responsible for handling the configuration and development of communication protocols and Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS) within automotive systems. Daily tasks include programming, testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing protocols, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role also involves providing technical support and documentation, as well as staying updated with advancements in relevant technologies.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, LIN)
• Experience with Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS) and diagnostic protocols
• Experience in automotive systems and standards (ISO 14229, AUTOSAR)
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively
• Bachelor&aposs or Master&aposs degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience with testing tools and methodologies (e.g., Vector CANoe)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Familiarity with embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS) is a plus
