Position Description Assist in coordinating production schedule. Act as liaison with customer service and production departments to ensure customers orders are produced on schedule. Produces daily schedules, notifies Production of changes to orders, and prepares engineering packs for release to production. Maintains order logs, and performs data entry duties for productivity reports. Enters order information into schedule. General Duties Process order in a timely and accurate fashion once released by Customer Service to Production Compare drawing data, to purchase order data, and pricing summary and resolve inconsistences Review orders and determine what information production will require and how to communicate that information affectively. (Additional production notes, additional line items, ect.) Review customer profile data, and apply standards are required Enter orders into Production System Create purchase requisitions for distributor and ASCs Enter information required for material demand Route orders to Engineering or Production as required Produce and distribute Schedule reports Work with upstream and downstream processes as necessary to balance load (customer service order processing, document release, logistics) Superior math skills and the ability to understand measurements and blueprint drawings Attention to detail Maintain quality standards / perform mandatory quality checks Meet daily productivity requirements Work well in a team environment Maintain clean and safe working environment Be able to communicate effectively with others Good attendance Other duties as assigned Experience 3 to 6 months related experience and/or training preferred but not required] Knowledge of appropriate software, ability to enter data efficiently and accurately Good communication skills in order to speak effectively with supervisors, company management and production employees Education High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.
