As a Cognitive SON Architect, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the performance and self-management of telecommunications networks by designing and implementing AI-driven solutions. Your work will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to develop intelligent network automation tools that leverage machine learning and advanced analytics, with a focus on optimizing modern mobile networks including 5G and beyond. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define the architecture for Cognitive SON solutions, incorporating AI/ML techniques for automating network management tasks. - Develop innovative algorithms and models to enhance the cognitive capabilities of SON systems for network optimization. - Optimize radio access networks (RAN) by creating real-time adaptive solutions for interference management, load balancing, and energy efficiency. - Collaborate with data scientists to implement AI/ML methods for predictive analytics and decision-making in SON context. - Lead the design of end-to-end SON solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing network systems and 5G infrastructure. - Work closely with stakeholders to deliver Cognitive SON features aligned with business goals. - Stay updated on AI/ML trends to contribute to continuous innovation in network automation solutions. - Engage with customers to understand their network challenges and provide tailored Cognitive SON solutions. **Skills & Qualifications:** - **Education:** Bachelor's or master's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. - **Experience:** 5+ years in network architecture, SON, or AI/ML applications within telecommunications, with a strong background in network optimization and experience in RAN technologies. - **Technical Expertise:** Proficient in Python, Java, and Microservices with expertise in AI/ML algorithms, data modeling, statistical methods, RAN technologies, 5G, and network management protocols. Experience with cloud computing, big data platforms, and SDN is a plus. This is a permanent position with the benefit of working from home and a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday.
