Job
Description
As a Cognitive SON Architect with over 10 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing AI-driven solutions to enhance the performance, scalability, and self-management of telecommunications networks. Your primary responsibility will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to create and deploy intelligent network automation tools that leverage machine learning, artificial intelligence, and advanced analytics. The ultimate goal is to deliver innovative solutions that optimize the operation and evolution of modern mobile networks, with a particular focus on 5G and beyond. Your key responsibilities will include defining the architecture for Cognitive SON solutions, integrating AI/ML techniques to automate network management tasks like self-healing, self-optimization, and self-configuration. You will develop innovative algorithms, models, and tools to enhance the cognitive capabilities of SON systems, addressing complex network optimization challenges. Working on optimizing radio access networks (RAN) by developing solutions that adapt in real-time to network conditions and demands, including interference management, load balancing, and energy efficiency, will also be part of your role. Collaborating with data scientists to implement machine learning and artificial intelligence methods for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and decision-making in the SON context is essential. Additionally, you will lead the design of end-to-end SON solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing network management systems, 5G infrastructure, and other products. Close collaboration with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders is crucial to ensure the successful delivery of Cognitive SON features and align solution development with business goals. To excel in this role, you should hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Your experience should demonstrate a strong background in network architecture, SON, or AI/ML applications within telecommunications. Proficiency in network optimization, particularly in RAN, 5G, or related technologies, as well as experience with Cognitive SON technologies, automation, and self-optimizing networks, is highly desirable. Technical expertise required for this role includes strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, and Microservices. Proficiency in AI/ML algorithms, data modeling, and statistical methods is essential, along with in-depth knowledge of RAN technologies, 5G, and network management protocols. Experience with cloud computing, big data platforms, and software-defined networking (SDN) will be advantageous. This is a permanent role with the benefit of working from home. The schedule is a day shift from Monday to Friday, with a performance bonus included. In summary, as a Cognitive SON Architect, you will drive the design and implementation of AI-driven solutions to enhance telecommunications networks" performance, scalability, and self-management. Your expertise in AI/ML techniques, network optimization, and Cognitive SON technologies will be instrumental in delivering innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of modern mobile networks, especially in the era of 5G technology and beyond.,
