Job Summary: As the Operations Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end operations of the organisation’s. You will lead the operations team and be accountable for vendor management, procurement of materials, purchase orders (POs), invoice management, and collaboration with the Accounts function. You will ensure that operational processes are efficient, cost-effective and aligned with the company’s growth objectives. The ideal candidate is energetic, communicative, and equipped with strong leadership skills. Key Responsibilities: · Manage vendor relationships: identify, evaluate, onboard and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers and service providers. · Manage project orders and customers: oversee project-related orders, ensure customer requirements are met, and maintain coordination with clients throughout the order lifecycle. · Collaborate with the execution team for updates and progress on ongoing projects, ensuring timely completion and operational alignment. · Oversee procurement of materials: ensure timely sourcing, quality assurance, cost optimisation, and adherence to company standards. · Manage and monitor purchase orders (POs): issuance, tracking, follow-up, delivery coordination and reconciliation. · Handle invoice processing and collaborate closely with the Accounts team to ensure timely and accurate payments and documentation. · Ensure alignment between operations and accounts/finance functions: share data, support audits, maintain records and drive transparency. · Prepare operational reports and dashboards to provide insight to senior management regarding vendor performance, procurement status, PO/invoice metrics, cost control and team productivity. · Communicate effectively across departments to maintain workflow, anticipate issues, escalate where needed and resolve operational and vendor-related challenges. · Motivated and proactive—take initiative, lead change, drive efficiency and foster a high-performance culture. Preferred Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or MBA in Supply Chain Management. · 3 to 5 years of experience in operations or supply chain roles (preferably in manufacturing, materials management, procurement or automation/technology sectors). · Experience with coordinating between operations and accounts/finance functions is a plus.
