Cofounder and Chief Technology Officer

As the Co-founder & Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Poultrywala by Ninjafarm, you will play a crucial role in transforming India's poultry and livestock supply chain by connecting contract poultry farming companies and traders through a transparent B2B marketplace. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the end-to-end product development, architect, design, and scale Poultrywala's marketplace platform. Additionally, you will manage the tech roadmap for new modules like wallet, BNPL, and traceability, set up infrastructure, recruit, mentor, and lead a small developer team, collaborate with the CEO and founding team on business & funding strategy, ensure data security, uptime, and system scalability, and represent the tech vision during fundraising, investor meetings, and partnerships. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead end-to-end product development including frontend, backend, integrations, and dashboards - Architect, design, and scale Poultrywala's marketplace platform - Manage tech roadmap for new modules like wallet, BNPL, and traceability - Set up infrastructure including cloud, DevOps, CI/CD, database, and performance monitoring - Recruit, mentor, and lead a small developer team - Collaborate with CEO and founding team on business & funding strategy - Ensure data security, uptime, and system scalability - Represent tech vision during fundraising, investor meetings, and partnerships **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of hands-on software development or tech leadership experience - Proven ability to build and scale production-ready systems - Passionate about building from scratch and solving real-world problems - Startup mindset with ownership, speed, and resourcefulness - Strong understanding of architecture, product, and execution - Experience working with founders and small teams - Comfortable taking equity-first, with a strong belief in the long-term vision The preferred tech stack includes: - Frontend: React.js, Next.js - Backend: PHP/Laravel or Node.js - Database: MySQL / PostgreSQL - Cloud: AWS / DigitalOcean / GCP This role offers a co-founder position with 3%-7% equity based on experience & contribution, the chance to build a national-level AgriTech + FinTech platform from the ground up, high ownership, autonomy, and decision-making power, future salary post funding round, and the opportunity to work directly with the founding team and shape the company's direction.
