Programme Coordinator Location: Hyderabad Salary: 6-10 Lakhs Basis: Permanent; full-time Eligibility: You must be eligible to work in India The role The Programme Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the growth and delivery of computing and digital making programmes and partnerships in co-curricular and after-school settings in India. The programmes include: Code Clubs Code Club is a global movement of free coding clubs where young people aged 9-16 years old develop the skills and confidence to create with digital technologies. Coolest Projects supporting creators to enter Coolest Projects, the worlds leading technology showcase for young people. Responsibilities Coordinate Code Club growth in India through outreach, partnerships and conducting study tours in collaboration with project leads. Support existing Code Club partners and mentors to deliver clubs outcomes through organising and facilitating support sessions and club observation and feedback. Deliver onboarding plans for new Code Clubs and partners, ensuring partners understand our agreements including safeguarding and branding requirements. Deliver training sessions for partners and educators. Support the planning, implementation, and growth of non-formal learning initiatives in India, including expansion to Atal Tinkering Labs and participation in Coolest Projects. Support monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities in alignment with the established framework, including travel to programme locations as required. A commitment to the mission and values of the Code Club India Bachelors degree or higher in STEM and/or a strong understanding of computing or STEM education At least two years experience in partnership development and education programme coordination roles, primarily in non-formal education programmes Strong track record of delivering education programmes, with an understanding of key success factors and emerging policy drivers Experience delivering training to a diverse range of stakeholders Good knowledge of the demographics and education systems of the State, including the processes schools and communities use to adopt new initiatives and the market landscape for computing education Good verbal and written communication skills, with strong English and fluency in local state language preferred Good data, analytical, and reporting skills; and the ability to use data effectively to improve what we do A collaborative, flexible, and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and complexity About us Founded in 2023, Code Club India (Foundation for Computing Education in India) is a non-profit that makes computer science education accessible to young people, with a focus on disadvantaged youth. We are the national partner for Code Club in India. Code Club is the worlds largest network of free computing clubs for young people, brought to life by tens of thousands of volunteers. We grow and deliver the Code Club movement in India in collaboration with NGO partners, schools, government departments, and societies.
