Co-Founder & CTO Position | FinTech Startup (Potential Unicorn)

The Role: We're seeking a visionary technologist to join as Co-Founder & CTO, leading our technical strategy and building our founding engineering team. You'll have significant equity ownership and the opportunity to shape a product that impacts millions globally.

Ideal Background:

• Fundraising history & previous exits experience preferred
• 8+ years of engineering experience with 3+ years in leadership roles
• Track record of architecting and scaling complex technology platforms
• Deep expertise in AI/ML, preferably with experience in fintech applications
• Strong background in cloud infrastructure and distributed systems
• Experience in building and leading high-performing engineering teams

Core Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the technical vision and roadmap
• Build and lead the founding engineering team
• Architect scalable solutions using cutting-edge technologies
• Make key technical decisions that will shape our platform's future
• Work closely with the CEO to align technical strategy with business goals
• Drive innovation in AI-powered experiences
• Establish engineering culture, processes, and best practices

Required Technical Skills:

• Expert-level proficiency in modern programming languages (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies and their practical applications
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Knowledge of security best practices and data privacy regulations
• Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and tools

Leadership Qualities:

• Outstanding communication and team-building abilities
• Strategic thinking with ability to translate vision into execution
• Strong product sense and user-centric mindset
• Proven ability to recruit and mentor top engineering talent
• Experience in agile methodologies and rapid iteration
• Comfort with ambiguity and fast-paced startup environment
