Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled CNC / VMC / VTL Setter and Programmer with over 6 years of hands-on experience in operating, setting, and programming CNC machines. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of machining processes, G-code programming, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC, VMC (Vertical Machining Centers), and VTL (Vertical Turning Lathes) machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
• Create and optimize CNC programs (G-code / CAM software) for precision machining.
• Select and set up the correct tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.
• Perform tool offset, work offset, and program adjustments as needed.
• Monitor machining processes to ensure high quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Conduct first piece inspection and in-process quality checks using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, CMM, etc.).
• Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet deadlines and product specifications.
• Maintain proper documentation of setups, tool life, and machining parameters.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in CNC, VMC, and/or VTL machine setting and programming.
• Proficiency in G-code programming; experience with Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi controllers is a plus.
• Ability to work with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cutting tools, speeds & feeds, and machining best practices.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and quality inspection procedures.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts and under production deadlines.

Education:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Tool & Die / Production Engineering or relevant trade.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
