The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role ensures quality, efficiency, and safety in the manufacturing process.
Set up and operate CNC machines (such as mills, lathes, or routers)
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
Load raw materials and secure parts in fixtures
Monitor machine operation and make minor adjustments as needed
Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Identify and report defects or machine issues
Perform basic machine maintenance and keep work area clean
Follow safety rules and company procedures at all times
Document production results and quality checks
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
Basic knowledge of CNC machines and manufacturing processes
