Role Objective: To manage the procurement strategy, vendor management, and contract administration for highway/road infrastructure projects. The role involves ensuring cost-effective procurement, compliance with contractual obligations, and effective coordination with project, legal, and commercial teams. Key Responsibilities: Contracts Management: Draft, review, and manage various types of contracts (EPC, subcontracting, supply agreements, consultancy). Interpret and ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions. • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate contractual risks and claims. Maintain records of correspondence, variation orders, amendments, and contract change notices. Coordinate with legal teams for dispute resolution and arbitration cases. Procurement Operations: Develop procurement strategy aligned with project timelines and budget. Float tenders/RFQs, evaluate bids, and prepare comparative statements. Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with vendors and contractors. Issue purchase/work orders for materials, equipment, and services. • Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to quality and delivery timelines. Vendor & Supplier Management: Identify and prequalify reliable suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers. Build long-term vendor relationships to support project execution. Maintain vendor database with performance ratings and contract history. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure procurement processes align with company policies and regulatory standards (NHAI/MoRTH/PWD). Maintain documentation for audits, client inspections, and internal controls. Prepare regular MIS reports on contracts status, procurement spend, and savings. Key Skills & Competencies: Knowledge of IRC, MoRTH, and PWD specifications and standards Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills Proficiency in MS Office tools Analytical thinking and ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines Preferred Background: Experience working in road/highway infrastructure companies (EPC/HAM/PPP projects) Exposure to both central and state government project procurement systems Prior experience handling contracts in coordination with NHAI, MoRTH, or PWD
Key Responsibilities: MIS Reporting & Data Analysis Design, generate, and manage project-specific and company-wide MIS reports for senior leadership. Track project KPIs: physical & financial progress, toll revenue, O&M status, budget variance, and resource utilization. Maintain real-time dashboards for EPC/HAM/BOT projects. Data Collection & Consolidation Coordinate with site teams, project managers, procurement, contracts, and finance to gather timely and accurate data. Standardize formats across projects for consistency in reporting. Financial & Operational Monitoring Analyse project budgets, costs, and cash flows. Track and report variations, delays, and deviations against approved project schedules. Process Automation & Tools Develop automation tools and templates for reporting using Excel, Power BI, or ERP systems. Collaborate with IT/ERP teams to improve system-based project monitoring and analytics. Audit & Compliance Support Support internal audits by ensuring data accuracy and report availability. Ensure compliance with internal reporting standards and government (NHAI/MoRTH) requirements where applicable. Experience : 8-12 years in MIS, preferably in roads/highway/infrastructure companies. • Technical Skills: o Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint o Power BI / Tableau / ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) o Data modelling and reporting automation • Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, cross-functional coordination, and reporting discipline Preferred Background: Experience in infrastructure/road development companies (EPC/HAM/BOT). Understanding of project lifecycles and commercial aspects. • Exposure to toll data, O&M metrics, and government reporting formats
