Cloud Software Engineer

As a senior software development engineer at McAfee, your role will involve leading the design, development, testing, and deployment of cloud-based software solutions. You will contribute to architecture design, mentor junior developers, and ensure code quality and compliance. Your responsibilities may include troubleshooting, performance optimization, and staying up-to-date with cloud technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Develop software as the primary job function - Design, develop, debug, & test complex platforms to classify malware - Work directly with developers, architects, test engineers, DevOps, and researchers - Develop scalable, high-performance, and reliable web applications operating 24/7 - Build and deploy microservices and cloud-based applications, preferably on AWS - Collaborate with global teams to enhance McAfee Consumer Products - Follow Agile Scrum methodologies and actively contribute to sprint planning and reviews Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's/master's degree in computer engineering with excellent academic track records - 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud development, specifically in AWS - Own functional areas of the project and lead end-to-end development activities using Python, Java, DynamoDB, and SQL - In-depth knowledge of AWS and cloud technologies, including DynamoDB, EMR jobs, Lambda, Docker, and Kubernetes About McAfee: McAfee is a leader in personal security for consumers, focusing on protecting people rather than just devices.
