Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud security architectures and best practices for AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Configure and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, roles, and permissions.
• Monitor and remediate security vulnerabilities, perform regular risk assessments, and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Develop and enforce security protocols, including encryption, network security, and secure DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct incident response, security audits, and root-cause analysis of security breaches.
• Implement tools and frameworks for vulnerability management, logging, and monitoring.
• Stay updated with the latest cloud security trends, threats, and compliance requirements.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in cloud security engineering.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, and/or GCP cloud platforms and their native security services.
• Expertise in security protocols, encryption, and network security.
• Solid understanding of IAM, SSO, MFA, and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Experience with vulnerability management tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, etc.).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation and security tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  

Good To Have

• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or CISSP/CCSP.
• Knowledge of container security (Docker/Kubernetes) and DevSecOps practices.
