Cloud Migration Engineer

As a Cloud Migration Engineer, you will provide a comprehensive assessment of existing solutions and infrastructure to facilitate their migration to the cloud. Your typical day will involve planning, delivering, and implementing application and data migration strategies that leverage both private and public cloud technologies. You will focus on creating scalable and high-performance solutions that drive next-generation business outcomes, ensuring that the migration process aligns with organizational goals and enhances operational efficiency. Expected to perform independently and become an SME, you will actively participate and contribute in team discussions, providing solutions to work-related problems. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless migration processes, you will analyze and optimize existing cloud architectures for improved performance and cost-efficiency. You will design and architect cloud infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Policy as Code (PaC) principles, developing and implementing strategies for secure and scalable cloud environments, leveraging DevSecOps practices. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud infrastructure, creating and maintaining automated deployment pipelines for cloud resources using tools like Terraform and Ansible. You will define and enforce policies for cloud resource management and security using tools like Sentinel and conduct regular assessments of cloud infrastructure to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices. It is essential to stay updated with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices to continuously improve infrastructure design and implementation. In terms of professional and technical skills, proficiency in Google Cloud Platform Architecture is a must-have, while experience with Microsoft Azure Architecture is considered good to have. You should possess a strong understanding of cloud migration strategies and best practices, familiarity with infrastructure as code tools and automation frameworks, and experience in assessing and optimizing cloud resource utilization. Additionally, proficiency in cloud platforms (especially Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), experience with DevSecOps practices and tools, as well as knowledge of automation and orchestration tools are expected. The candidate for this role should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Google Cloud Platform Architecture and proven experience (minimum 3 years) in cloud infrastructure architecture and design. This position is based at our Hyderabad office, and a 15 years full-time education is required. Certification in cloud technologies such as HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert is a plus.,
