Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - CDK for Terraform (Python or TypeScript)

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with our company, you will have the opportunity to work remotely and utilize your expertise in CDK for Terraform (CDKTF) using Python or TypeScript. Your role will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure-as-code projects to generate Terraform configurations efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using CDK for Terraform (CDKTF) with Python or TypeScript. - Write reusable code modules using Python classes or TypeScript constructs to model Terraform resources. - Manage infrastructure lifecycle, deployment, and state using Terraform CLI and Terraform Cloud. - Utilize virtual environments and dependency managers like pip/venv for Python and npm for TypeScript. - Write test cases using pytest (Python) or Jest (TypeScript) to ensure high code quality. - Automate provisioning and validation scripts using language-native tooling. - Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure drift, state management issues, and deployment errors. - Maintain clear and updated documentation for infrastructure code and workflows. - Stay updated with CDKTF, Terraform, and ecosystem best practices. Qualifications Required: - 2+ years of experience with CDK for Terraform (CDKTF) in either Python or TypeScript. - Strong programming background in Python with 4+ years of experience, including OOP, virtualenv/pip, and scripting for infrastructure. - Strong programming background in TypeScript with 4+ years of experience, including interfaces, modules, classes, typing, and Node.js. - Hands-on experience with Terraform CLI, including terraform init, plan, apply, and validate. - Experience in managing Terraform state, modules, and providers. - Familiarity with writing tests using pytest (Python) or Jest (TypeScript). - Proficiency in debugging infrastructure code and optimizing deployment flows. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in DevOps-heavy environments.,
