We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud FinOps Engineer / Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on cost efficiency and financial governance. This role requires deep expertise in cloud services, cost management tools, and FinOps principles. The candidate should have a minimum of 4+ years of experience in cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) with a strong focus on IAAS/PAAS/FinOps practices, extensive knowledge of cloud cost management and optimization tools such as AWS Cost Explorer and Cloudability, experience in monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch/Azure Monitor, and a deep understanding of cloud services, cost management tools, and architecture frameworks. Excellent communication and presentation skills are required for customer-facing engagements. Relevant certifications, such as FinOps Certified Practitioner or AWS Certified Solutions Architect, are preferred. The role involves deep expertise in cost optimization, financial analysis, and the application of FinOps principles. Responsibilities include managing the effective integration and execution of automation scripts to streamline FinOps processes, performing detailed rightsizing and budget reviews, and managing the creation and distribution of FinOps reports. You will be responsible for optimizing cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on cost efficiency and financial governance. A solid understanding of cloud computing with a strong focus on IAAS/PAAS/FinOps practices is required. Experience in AWS CloudWatch and Azure Monitor for tracking performance metrics and setting up alerts is necessary. Additionally, a deep understanding of cloud services, cost management tools, and architecture frameworks is essential.
