Description
You will be responsible for architecting, designing, and documenting cloud infrastructure solutions. Your duties will involve deploying and testing cloud architectures and designs to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions. Leveraging Azure services for Landing Zones will be a key aspect of your role, including Management group, Subscription, VNET, Subnet, Network Security Groups, User Defined Route, Network Virtual Appliance, Key Vault, Log Analytics, Storage, VNET Service Endpoint, Private Endpoint, Application Gateway, Virtual machine, Storage, and Backup solutions. Furthermore, you will implement encryption and utilize Microsoft security tools such as Azure Policy, Log Analytics, Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, MDE, and WAF. Your expertise will be required in managing Azure Firewall, Traffic Manager, Azure Front Door, and Azure Application Gateway. Additionally, you will oversee DNS services like Infoblox or Azure DNS, as well as Service Now (SNOW). Driving DevOps and automation using Biceps, JSON, or Terraform will be part of your responsibilities. You will also be expected to track and report on team performance metrics, resource utilization, and time tracking for charge-back to various programs. To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and cloud firewall technologies. Extensive experience in architecting, designing, and documenting cloud infrastructure solutions is essential, along with hands-on expertise in deploying and testing cloud architectures and designs. Strong proficiency in Azure services, knowledge of basic services required for Landing Zones in Azure, and experience with encryption and Microsoft security tools are necessary. Proficiency in Azure Firewall, Traffic Manager, Azure Front Door, and Azure Application Gateway is also required. Knowledge of DNS services, ServiceNow, and experience in DevOps and automation using Terraform (preferred) and Bicep or JSON is expected. Possessing AZ-500 and AZ-304 (or higher) qualifications, experience in professional services or consulting environments, familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform), cloud automation, and platform engineering, as well as experience in .Net to support Cloud automation using Azure PaaS services will be advantageous. A background in managing hybrid or distributed teams across geographies is also beneficial.,
