Description
As a skilled Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing microservices and serverless functions using Node.js on AWS Lambda. Your tasks will include managing and configuring AWS IAM roles, policies, and implementing security best practices. Furthermore, you will be involved in developing and deploying containerized applications with Kubernetes in production environments and maintaining IoT solutions utilizing AWS services like IoT Core and IoT Greengrass. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring deployment governance by overseeing CI/CD pipelines to comply with security and regulatory requirements. It will also be your responsibility to define and uphold monitoring strategies using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or ELK. Collaborating closely with DevOps teams, you will contribute to secure and reliable deployments. Your expertise in managing cloud storage services such as S3, EFS, and various databases will be essential for handling application and data storage needs. Continuously enhancing application performance, scalability, and fault tolerance will be a key focus, along with hands-on experience in AWS IAM, Security Policies, and Role Management. To excel in this position, you must have proven experience in developing microservices using Node.js, proficiency in AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and other serverless services. Additionally, expertise in Kubernetes for container orchestration, familiarity with cloud storage solutions like S3, EBS, and EFS, and a deep understanding of security and monitoring in cloud-native applications are required skills. Your prior experience with deployment governance, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code will be advantageous. Holding an AWS Certification (e.g., Solutions Architect, Developer Associate, or Professional) is preferred. Proficiency in Microservices Development with NodeJS and ExpressJS, containerization of microservices, experience with IoT Core and IoT GreenGrass, Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation, and exposure to event-driven architectures and messaging (SNS, SQS, MQTT) will set you up for success in this role.,
