Description
As a Subject Matter Expert in Cloud technologies, you will be responsible for resolving complex issues, guiding and coaching cloud administrators. Your expertise in Openstack, Virtualization, Troubleshooting, Cloud, Linux, and Network will be crucial in providing technical leadership and guidance to project teams and stakeholders. You will have hands-on experience with cloud resources such as VM, Storage, Network and will be adept at configuring LB, NSG, and Firewall in provisioning and troubleshooting scenarios. Your responsibilities will also include preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), gathering asset information, creating architecture diagrams, and engaging in OEM interlock activities. Designing and architecting cloud-based solutions using Openstack cloud technologies and services will be a key part of your role. You will be expected to create and maintain architectural artifacts, including solution designs, reference architectures, and best practices. Ensuring that solutions are scalable, highly available, and cost-effective to meet business requirements will be among your priorities. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams, developers, infrastructure engineers, and business stakeholders will be essential in developing customized cloud solutions. You will also provide guidance and recommendations on cloud-related technologies and trends, as well as participate in pre-sales activities such as solution presentations and technical demonstrations. In addition, you will be responsible for establishing engineering and automation objectives, consulting with internal IT customers on net new and cloud migration initiatives, providing third-level support, conducting root cause analysis of issues, maintaining security standards in the cloud as per security guidelines and benchmarks, assisting in capacity planning, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your strong knowledge of Openstack cloud technologies and services, including IaaS, NetApp Storage, as well as experience with Openstack Cloud, Linux/Unix, network infrastructure, cloud security best practices, regulatory compliance, and agile development methodologies will be key assets in this role. Certifications in Openstack, Linux, or Network technologies will be advantageous. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, will be essential to excel in this position.,
