Clinical Nurse Manager (OT)

Role Overview: As a Clinical Nurse Manager (OT), your main responsibility will be to ensure smooth operations in the operation theatre. You will be in charge of informing all nursing and technician staff about the booked surgeries, conducting pre-operation checks of the OT, maintaining strict sterility supervision, and preparing the OT for the next surgery as well as for emergencies. Key Responsibilities: - Inform all nursing and technician staff about the booked surgery - Conduct pre-operation check of the OT including medical equipment, instruments, biomedical, and surgical sets - Inform the biomedical department immediately in case of any machinery defect - Sterilize the patient using betadine after induction - Maintain the emergency drug box/trolley ready - Supervise strict sterility measures - Clean the operative site of the patient with antibacterial solutions - drape the patient with sheets keeping the site of operation open - Wash equipment/instruments with solution and send them to CSSD for sterilization - Send linen for laundry - Take the Addressograph of the patient before the surgery - Confirm the site of surgery with the patient, doctor, and file checking - Check medical reports, lab investigations, and blood group - Take consent from the patient and their relatives for the procedure Qualification Required: - GNM/B.Sc in Nursing Please note that this is a full-time position that requires you to work in person at the specified location.,
