Clinical Instructor

Role & responsibilities:

1. Assess the learning needs; formulate the learning objectives according to priority.

2. Motivate the nursing staff through the continuous teaching-learning process.

3. Observe and instruct the nurses in clinical areas for right practices.

4. Assist in standardization and implementation of nursing documentation.

5. Develop an excellent cordial working relationship with nursing and medical personnel.

6. Assist in standardization and implementation of Nursing documentation

7. Assist in scheduling need based teaching programs.

8. Ensures that all the new nurse candidates receive necessary training and education as per their departmental requirements.

9. Responsible for assessing the educational need for each nurse, collaborate with head nurses and nursing supervisor

10. Implement & evaluate educational programs that are aimed to advance nursing practice

11. Incidental clinical teaching to staff nurses.

12. Provide on job training to the clinical nurses by demonstrating Nursing /Clinical procedures at patient bed side.

13. Participate in planning, implementation, and evaluation of any alterations in systems within the nursing department.

14. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

15. To develop nursing auditing tools for quality development

16. To execute nursing training after the gaps are identified
