As a Practice Associate for community private practice in Mumbai, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care and medical services to older adults. Your role will involve a combination of office consultations, house calls, assisted living facility visits, and visits to skilled nursing facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating illnesses, developing and managing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and offering preventative care and health education to elderly patients. It is crucial to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and continuous patient care. To excel in this role, you must possess primary care and medicine skills with a specialization in Clinical Geriatrics/Geriatric Medicine. Excellent bedside manner and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Previous experience in working with older adult populations is highly valued. The ideal candidate will hold a medical degree and board certification in Geriatrics or Geriatric Medicine. A valid medical license to practice in Maharashtra is also required.
