The License Compliance Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that customers in the India & SAARC territory benefit fully from their software investment while protecting Trimble's intellectual property rights and maintaining a positive brand image. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to address copyright infringement and license compliance issues, provide licensing education, and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency of license compliance initiatives. Your responsibilities will also include forecasting, reporting, and maintaining accurate pipeline data, as well as engaging in C-level negotiations and legal escalations for larger accounts. Key Responsibilities: - Act as the main contact and subject matter expert for License Compliance tasks in assigned countries. - Establish relationships with agencies to facilitate Trimble's market presence. - Advise agencies on licensing settlements according to the Power of Attorney. - Provide licensing education and documentation to internal and external parties. - Analyze license compliance leads using internal tools and databases. - Develop and implement strategies and workflows tailored to local laws and regulations. - Identify new processes to improve the efficiency of license compliance initiatives. - Engage in negotiations to address piracy concerns and foster long-term client relationships. - Coordinate with Sales teams and channel partners to ensure customer compliance and drive market growth. - Collaborate on upsell opportunities and minimize renewal churn by understanding sales team dynamics. - Monitor and report on pipeline forecasting using provided dashboards. - Share best practices within the Global License Compliance program to mitigate risks and ensure data confidentiality. - Participate in C-level negotiations and legal escalations for major accounts. Skills, Abilities & Experience Required: - Minimum 4 years of experience in License Compliance, Audit, or Piracy. - Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or Information Technology. - Sales experience and management skills are essential. - Familiarity with Cylynt (Smartflow) and Salesforce CRM. - Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data accurately. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proficiency in English and a second language, preferably Mandarin. - Knowledge of Software Asset Management tools and best practices. - Experience in ecosystem management, problem-solving, and consulting will be beneficial. - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. - Ability to work independently, proactively, and manage high work volume. - Strong understanding of software license agreements. - Demonstrated integrity and high work ethic.,
