Job Title: Cleaning Staff / Janitorial Staff

Department: Facilities / Operations
Reports To: Clinic Manager or Facilities Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Cleaning Staff is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized environment throughout the cosmetology clinic. This includes cleaning treatment rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, and equipment to ensure compliance with health and safety standards required in a clinical and cosmetology setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Cleaning Duties:
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all clinic areas.
• Dust surfaces, furniture, and fixtures regularly.
• Clean mirrors, glass surfaces, and windows.
• Sanitation:
• Sanitize treatment beds, chairs, and workstations after each use.
• Disinfect tools, equipment surfaces, and high-touch areas (doorknobs, light switches, etc.).
• Ensure that proper disinfectants are used according to health and safety regulations.
• Restroom Maintenance:
• Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, and floors.
• Refill soap, toilet paper, and paper towels as needed.
• Remove trash and dispose of it according to clinic protocols.
• Waste Management:
• Collect and properly dispose of general and clinical waste.
• Follow protocols for handling hazardous materials if applicable (e.g., used gloves, cotton pads, etc.).
• Laundry Support:
• Wash, dry, and fold towels, linens, and gowns used during treatments.
• Ensure a constant supply of clean linens for daily operations.
• Inventory and Supplies:
• Monitor and report low stock of cleaning and sanitation supplies.
• Restock cleaning closets and carts regularly.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards, including those set by local authorities or regulatory bodies.
• Report any maintenance issues or potential safety hazards to the Clinic Manager.

Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred (especially in healthcare or cosmetology settings)
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and sanitation standards
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks (bending, lifting, standing for long periods)
• Good attention to detail
• Basic communication skills

Pay: From ₹12,000.00 per month
