Civil Structural E3D Designer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Civil & Structural Designer

with proven experience in delivering engineering design solutions within the

Oil & Gas sector

. The ideal candidate will be proficient in working within 3D modeling environments and capable of preparing a wide range of structural and civil drawings, including offshore and underground service layouts. The position requires strong technical expertise, familiarity with key industry design tools, and a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary project environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models for civil and structural components using industry-standard tool - E3D.
• Prepare comprehensive design drawings and detailed engineering deliverables, including:
• Structural steel and concrete layouts
• Underground services (UG piping, trenches, cable routes)
• Coordinate and integrate structural design data with other engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, etc.) to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Support the design team in model reviews, clash detection, and resolution activities using 3D software platforms.
• Generate BOQs, material take-offs, and as-built drawings based on client and project specifications.
• Comply with industry standards, project guidelines, and safety norms in all design documentation.
• Review and incorporate client comments and change requests, maintaining accurate documentation and revision controls.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Proficient in E3D
• Solid understanding of civil and structural design codes, particularly within the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, general arrangement drawings, and structural calculations.
• Experience in 3D model development, detailing, and drafting.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Prior experience in Oil & Gas, Offshore, or EPC projects is a strong advantage.

• Around 10+ years of relevant industry experience in a similar role.
• Team player with good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
