Scope of work

The Civil Engineer is responsible for designing, budgeting, scoping/contracting, site supervision and invoicing support related to drilling wellsite construction, maintenance and any associated civil activities. A key role is ensuring that operational planning and execution is done with full awareness of the drilling program and meeting the overall well objectives

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Civil Engineer is responsible for designing, budgeting, scoping/contracting, site supervision and invoicing support related to drilling wellsite construction, maintenance and any associated civil activities. A key role is ensuring that operational planning and execution is done with full awareness of the drilling program and meeting the overall well objectives. Specific Wellsite responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Contracting Preparation the scope of work, estimate, drawings, and technical evaluation of bidders.
• Site supervision for construction of drill site, approach road, septic tank, soak pit & waste pit for drilling & workover rig as and when required.

• Maintenance (Pit liner repair, damage pit bund repair before every rainy season & rain cuts repair of all waste liquid storage pit) .

• Construction of dyke as per PESO.

• Supervision of Conductor installation job of various size as per requirement.

• Pad layout Modification job for existing location.

• Identifying hazards at workplace, applying PTW for the activities at well site, ensure safe civil operations

• Coordination with CSR for local issues. • Assist and advise to projects in modification of site as per requirement of Rigs.
• Assist and support P&A jobs and emergency jobs at well locations. • Review and prepare the DPR on daily basis
• Experience of design for any change in scope of work on site and giving quick alternatives/solution of the work.
• Having good exposure and understanding of multicultural environment, familiar with international standard of HSE, with good knowledge of working on computer.
• Multifunctional, self-starter person and can be adjust and manage in any kind of environment and work culture.

• Liaise with the Companys representatives/departments/stakeholders for all technical guidance, evaluation and execution as and when required.

• Civil Engineer will be reporting to Company Drilling Project Manager in Company office for all technical guidance/evaluation and execution and administratively reporting to the Contractor

Qualifications & Experience:

minimum of 7 yrs

Relevant knowledge of well-site operations including drilling and completion/work over operations.

• Good knowledge on drill site preparation, conductor grouting, approach road, cellar/pits construction and associated civil activities.

• Strong leadership and people/contractor/stakeholder management skills with a good awareness of cultural sensitivities;

• Excellent command of the English Language (demonstrated by verbal and written skills)

• Previous Experience with COMPANY of supervising similar Operations is preferable.
