Job Description

  • Support Civil /Structural project activities to ensure timely completion of all project activities including engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning.
  • Assist in the review of Technical & Engineering Specifications, Civil/Structural design basis, Foundation design basis, Architectural design basis, building drawings, Equipment Layouts, Inspection & Test Plans, 3D models, Foundation drawings, Construction BOQs, Site finishing road layout, Storm water and sanitary systems, Vendor document, etc. for detailed engineering phase of the Project.
  • Review of Vendor list, Material Requisitions, MTO, scope of work, spares requirement, Vendor data, ITP, FAT/SAT procedures.
  • Performing the Design Check using latest software tools and international standards in practice.
  • Participation in safety studies such as PHA, Hazardous Area Classification studies, HAZOP & SIL Studies, etc. along with follow up & close out of study recommendations.
  • Keeping up to date with changing legislation and codes of practice relating to design. Ensure quick resolution of site technical queries Coordination for interface of Fertilizer Civil/Structural activities with other disciplines, design optimisation.
  • Support in equipment and material inspections, monitoring of the material dispatch, coordination with third party inspectors.
  • Provide engineering support for civil/structural activities during all phases of the project up to plant takeover.
  • Civil/Structural Engineering:
  1. Good knowledge of Civil/Structural engineering principles.
  2. Understanding of the design and engineering of civl/structural.
  3. Staying abreast with the emerging technologies and best practices followed in civil/structural engineering to optimise project costs.
