The location for this position will be any one of the Offices in India GSG. The Regional Team Leader is responsible for supervising a team 25 - 30 employees and provides mentoring, training, and leadership to inspire the team to achieve their optimal performance. Key Responsibilities: Technical Work: Perform scope reviews and planning studies. Water quality and hydraulic analyses and modeling. Work with multi-discipline project teams to produce design drawings and specifications for recommended solutions Assist in the projects through the review of shop drawings and responses to requests for information. Create detailed job descriptions that outline the responsibilities, qualifications, and expectations for the role Recruit, interview, and hire new employees (as approved by the TDM) to support project workload and overall firm growth. Gather feedback from new hires and hiring managers to identify areas for improvement. Client Experience and Quality: Deliver a legendary client experience with attention to quality. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. Coordinate workload within the Technical Services group and utilization goals for team members. Ensure team members comply with QA/QC and Health & Safety procedures for project delivery. Evaluate project outcomes and processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices. Operational Tasks: Approve time sheets and expense reports in a timely manner. Ensure team members complete all required training (Compliance, Health & Safety, Ethics, etc.) on time. Ensure team members comply with QA/QC and Health & Safety procedures for project delivery. Financial Responsibilities: Responsible for the actual profit margin delivered by the team. Coordinate with the TDM for appropriate technical staff assignments. Deliver appropriate sales support, as coordinated with the TDM. Minimum Qualifications Masters degree in Water Resources or Civil Engineering or related discipline. Professional engineering (PE) license or Project Management or Chartered Engineering (CEng) preferred. 15+ years of related experience with people management experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. Preferred Qualifications Expert Knowledge of computer-assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices. Expert Knowledge of engineering principles of design. Able to promote a culture of collaboration, quality, and leading by example through CDM Smith's Vision and Core Values.
