You have deep knowledge of one or more platforms such as Cisco IOS/XE/XR/NX-OS, Juniper Junos, Nokia SR OS. You should have hands-on experience in device provisioning, BGP/MPLS/VPN/ISIS/Multicast configuration, and platform-specific CLI. Consider COLT specific network role alignment in terms of protocols and R&S as needed by other roles. Experience with automation frameworks such as Ansible, NSO, or custom Python-based systems is required. You must be able to define template logic for interface/VLAN/BGP/OSPF/service configurations and possess strong collaboration and review skills for working with developers and testers. Familiarity with NETCONF/YANG models and CLI config mode differences across platforms is essential. In this role, your responsibilities include providing vendor-specific network architecture and configuration insights (Nokia/Cisco/Juniper), defining base and service configuration templates with mandatory parameters and dependencies, validating Jinja2 templates and CLI command sequences before production rollout, supporting rollback strategy definition and platform-specific resilience handling (e.g., commit-confirm, checkpoint), assisting in defining verification steps and expected output for automated tests, coordinating with Colt architecture, operations, and security teams to ensure framework alignment, and participating in design reviews, script validation cycles, and pilot deployments.,
