We are looking for a talented and passionate Video Editor with a strong background in fictional storytelling and entertainment editing to join our growing content team focused on microdramas . The ideal candidate has experience editing for OTT, YouTube fiction, or daily soaps/mini-series , and understands the nuances of visual hooks, emotional beats, pacing, and cliffhangers that make microdramas successful. Key Responsibilities: Edit high-quality fiction content (microdramas) for YouTube, OTT, and social media platforms Work closely with the creative director and writers to shape narrative structure and pacing Add transitions, sound design, visual effects, and basic motion graphics to elevate storytelling Understand and execute the visual and emotional beats in short-format fiction (25 minute episodes) Ensure timely delivery of edited content aligned with production schedules Collaborate with colorists, sound designers, and post-production teams as needed Requirements: 5–11 years of video editing experience in fiction (TV, web series, short films, OTT content) Strong command of editing tools: Adobe Premiere Pro (mandatory), DaVinci Resolve (optional), After Effects (preferred) Understanding of screenplay and episodic storytelling Experience editing short-format digital content is a big plus Excellent sense of timing, rhythm, and visual storytelling Ability to work under tight deadlines and iterate quickly Good to Have: Background in microdrama-style content or YouTube fiction Knowledge of Kannada/Telugu/Hindi (depending on project language) Basic understanding of color correction and sound balancing
