Cinematographer

As a Cinematographer based in Erode, you will play a crucial role in bringing visual projects to life with your exceptional eye for detail, strong technical skills, and ability to transform concepts into visually captivating stories. Collaborating closely with directors, producers, and creative teams, you will be responsible for understanding project visions and requirements to plan and execute the visual style, lighting, and framing for each scene. Operating and maintaining professional camera equipment and lenses will be a key part of your role, along with directing camera crews and guiding lighting setups to achieve the desired mood and tone. You will also ensure shot continuity, composition, and color consistency, managing on-set equipment and troubleshooting technical issues as they arise. Staying updated with the latest cinematography trends, gear, and techniques will be essential to your success in this role. Your proven experience as a cinematographer or director of photography, along with a strong understanding of camera operations, lighting setups, and composition, will set you up for success. Proficiency with professional cameras such as ARRI, RED, Sony, Canon Cinema, and related equipment is required, as is knowledge of post-production workflows and color grading basics. Your creative vision, attention to detail, excellent communication, and teamwork skills will be invaluable as you work under pressure and meet deadlines. Preferred skills include experience with drone cinematography and basic knowledge of VFX and motion graphics. Ideally, you will hold a Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Cinematography, or a related field, though it is not mandatory. A minimum of 1 year of experience as a cinematographer or in similar roles is required. This is a full-time position based in Erode, Tamil Nadu, requiring in-person work.
