The candidate will have a strong background in SAP ABAP development and understanding of SAP modules. The ABAP Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom ABAP programs and reports to meet the needs of our business and ensure efficient and effective use of SAP systems Role & responsibilities : SAP ABAP Development Design, develop, test, and implement custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms Make and modify ABAP programs for SAP modules including SAP FI/CO, MM, SD, PP and PM Develop and enhance SAP scripts and Smart Forms for print layouts Perform system analysis, design, and documentation of technical specifications Performance Optimization: Optimize existing ABAP programs and reports to improve performance and efficiency Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of SAP ABAP applications Integrate ABAP programs with other SAP modules and third-party Develop and execute test cases for ABAP programs and report results Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications Support & Maintenance: Provide technical support and troubleshooting Preferred candidate profile: Strong proficiency in ABAP programming language, including Data Dictionary, Reports, Module Pool Programming, BAPI, IDOC and Enhancements Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori Knowledge of SAP GUI scripting, ALV, and other SAP development tools Good understanding of SAP best practices and methodologies Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment Technical Skills: Proficiency in debugging and performance tuning of ABAP applications Familiarity with SAP NetWeaver, HANA database, and other relevant SAP technologies
