Primary Skills:Performance Testing Secondary Skills:APM tools Client Interview (Y/N):Yes Detailed Skill Descriptions (With relevant years of experience) :Key Responsibilities:1.Design and Strategy:oDevelop and implement comprehensive performance testing strategies using JMeter and Blazemeter. oDefine performance benchmarks, test objectives, and success criteria based on business and technical needs. oCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather performance requirements and translate them into structured test plans. 2.Test Development and Execution:oDesign, develop, and maintain automated performance test scripts for load, stress, and scalability testing using JMeter and Blazemeter. oExecute tests, simulate real-world usage scenarios, and analyze results to identify performance bottlenecks or areas for improvement. oMonitor system performance during test execution and troubleshoot issues as they arise. 3.Analysis and Reporting:oAnalyze performance test results to identify performance bottlenecks, trends, anomalies, and potential risks. oCreate comprehensive performance test reports detailing findings, issues, and actionable recommendations. oPresent findings to development, QA, and management teams with clear insights to drive performance improvements. 4.Monitoring and Profiling:oUtilize application and system performance monitoring tools like Dynatrace, New Relic, and AppDynamics to gather detailed performance metrics. oIntegrate monitoring tools with testing frameworks to provide real-time insights during performance tests. oAnalyze and interpret data from monitoring tools to identify system trends, potential issues, and root causes. 5.Collaboration and Communication:oCollaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to ensure performance is optimized throughout the software development lifecycle. oProvide mentorship and share knowledge on best practices in performance testing to elevate team capabilities. oCommunicate test results, findings, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications:Experience:Minimum 8-10 years of experience in performance testing and engineering. Technical Skills:oProven hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter and Blazemeter (LoadRunner is a plus). oStrong understanding of performance testing methodologies, including load, stress, and scalability testing. oExperience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, and AppDynamics. oSolid scripting skills with knowledge of programming languages like Python, Java, and C#. oUnderstanding of system architecture (databases, networks, web services) and how they impact application performance. oExperience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is a plus. Skills and Competencies:Strong analytical skills to assess system performance and diagnose issues. Ability to troubleshoot complex performance issues in distributed environments. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
