Role Overview:- We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled MIG Welding Machine Maintenance Technician to join our team. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of all MIG welding equipment and associated production machinery through expert preventive maintenance, rapid troubleshooting, and accurate repair. Roles & Responsibilities :- Welding & Fabrication Operate MIG welding equipment to fabricate components according to technical drawings and blueprints. Ensure accurate setup of welding parameters (voltage, wire feed, gas flow) based on material specifications. Inspect finished products and welds to meet stringent quality and dimensional standards. Maintenance & Troubleshooting Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance on MIG welding machines, wire feeders, torches, power sources, gas systems, and cooling units. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues in welding equipment. Inspect and replace welding consumables such as liners, contact tips, diffusers, and drive rolls. Repair and calibrate welding machines to maintain consistent weld quality. Conduct root-cause analysis on recurring machine faults and implement corrective actions. Maintain gas supply systems (manifolds, regulators, hoses) for safe and efficient operation. Technical Support Assist production teams with machine setup, parameter optimization, and weld quality stability. Support installation and commissioning of new MIG welding machines and automation/robotic welding systems. Work with suppliers and service teams to resolve advanced technical issues. Safety & Compliance Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, and electrical safety protocols. Ensure machines meet company and industry safety standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free maintenance area. Desired Candidate Profile 2-5 years of experience in MIG Welding Machine Maintenance or related field (B.Tech/B.E. Mechanical or Diploma Mechanical preferred). Strong knowledge of Co2 Welding, Robotic Welding, Welding Machine Maintenance, Wire Feeder Repair, Breakdown Maintenance. Ability to work independently.
