About Us Chotanagpur Kalyan Niketan (CKN) is a grassroots non-profit organization dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment for children, women, and marginalized communities in rural Jharkhand. With the support of the Azim Premji Foundation , CKN has launched the Rural Crèche Initiative , providing safe, nurturing, and learning-friendly spaces for children in remote tribal villages of Simdega . We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to lead this initiative and ensure its successful implementation. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of the Rural Crèche Initiative . Supervise and guide the project team, ensuring effective coordination across multiple crèche centers. Develop strategies to enhance early childhood care, education, and nutrition outcomes. Liaise with government departments, funding agencies, and other stakeholders. Oversee financial management, reporting, and compliance for the project. Monitor field operations and conduct regular site visits to ensure quality standards. Required Qualifications Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Social Work, Child Development, Education, Public Health, Nutrition , or a related field. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in program management, preferably in early childhood development, health, education, or community initiatives . Technical Skills: Strong project planning, budgeting, and reporting abilities. Proficiency in MS Office tools; familiarity with monitoring and evaluation systems is desirable. Language Skills: Fluency in Hindi is mandatory; knowledge of English is an advantage. Key Attributes Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. Willingness to travel extensively within rural Simdega. Compensation Salary will be commensurate with experience and as per organizational norms. Travel and field allowances will be provided based on policy.
