This role is crucial for providing support and oversight for tooling development and manufacturing on-site. You will collaborate with Tool Makers and Manufacturing Vendors to ensure that products meet safety and quality requirements, injection molds are fabricated correctly, manufacturing processes are optimized for mass production, and tooling development milestones are achieved. During mass production, you will work with factories to ensure production processes meet safety and quality standards set by TMS and clients. Your responsibilities will include participating in new product turnover activities, managing development schedules, leading meetings to resolve issues, coordinating with tool makers and factories, overseeing the tool manufacturing process, monitoring production processes, ensuring proper process controls are in place, and following up on quality and safety issues. You will also be involved in corrective and preventive action preparation, defect analysis, and monitoring the effectiveness of implemented actions. To excel in this role, you should have solid experience and technical expertise in plastic toys, premium, and children's products, as well as working with factories in high-volume production. A degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline, along with at least 5 years of experience in the toys or hard plastic industry, is required. Strong analytical skills, knowledge of plastic product design and mold-making processes, experience in injection molding workshop procedures, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in English are essential. Other requirements for this role include reliability, integrity, being a team player, proactive and self-motivated, and willingness to travel outside India. With the potential for career growth, this role can lead to positions such as Senior Production Engineer, Assistant Production Engineering Manager, or Production Engineering Manager within the company.,
