Company Description The Children's Parliament Network, a unit of Governance Magnify to empower children in rural communities across India and beyond. The initiative provides platforms for children to express their opinions, learn about governance, and actively participate in decision-making processes. Children's Parliaments have led to improved child participation in education and healthcare decisions, as well as the development of leadership skills among the younger generation. Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Paid Intern at Children's Parliament Network. The Paid Intern will assist in organizing and facilitating parliament sessions, engaging with children to ensure their voices are heard, and supporting the development of leadership skills among participants. The role is located in Chennai, with some work from home flexibility. Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience in working with children or youth empowerment programs Ability to organize and facilitate group activities Knowledge of child rights and governance principles Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work independently and collaboratively Passion for community development and child advocacy Fluency in regional languages is a plus
