Chief Manager- Evacuation (Wind)

Job Description: As the Chief Manager - Evacuation - Wind at Sterlite Power Transmission Limited, your role involves planning and executing transmission lines and pooling substations within budget and time constraints while ensuring compliance with norms and regulations. You will be responsible for providing guidance and suggesting corrective actions to the EPC partner for operational excellence. Your key responsibilities include: - Supporting the EPC partner in obtaining statutory clearances such as PLC, Railway, NH, SH, Forest, PTCC, and other necessary clearances for the construction of transmission lines. - Ensuring Right of Way Clearance with the ground team within the allocated budget. - Planning and monitoring the construction activities of the Pooling Substation at the site. - Monitoring project execution in consultation with the Reporting Manager to achieve the desired output from the EPC partner. - Planning and monitoring the supply and inventory of materials required for timely project completion. - Leading profitable, on-time, and within-budget execution of a portfolio of power transmission projects across multiple states and customer segments. - Developing and recommending project execution plans/schedules to avoid deviations from approved plans and providing guidance and corrective actions to the EPC partners when challenges arise. - Proactively identifying potential risks, problems, and developing and executing mitigation plans. - Building a culture of adherence to international best practices related to quality, safety, environment, and health issues. - Updating schedules, estimates, forecasts, and budgets as required. - Having the final responsibility for planning and executing projects and regularly reporting project status across sites to the reporting manager.
