Youll work closely with our AI, product, and design teams to create interactive chess experiences, data visualizations, and training platforms. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintainweb applicationsfor ChessWorld AI usingJavaScriptandPython. Design and implementfrontendfeatures (UI/UX) andbackendserver logic and APIs. Work inReplitfor collaborative coding, testing, and debugging. Integrate chess-specific APIs (e.g., lichess.org, chess.com) and AI-based engines for game analysis. Collaborate with AI engineers to visualize chess data and predictions. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment workflows. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in JavaScript(frontend frameworks a plus: React, Vue, or similar). Strong Python skillsfor backend logic, data handling, and AI integration. Experience working inReplitfor dev collaboration. Understanding of REST APIs and websockets. Git/GitHub knowledge for version control. Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a team. Preferred / Bonus Skills: Chess playing experience or FIDE/online rating ability to understand chess logic and notation (PGN, FEN, moves). Familiarity with chess engines (Stockfish, Leela Chess Zero, etc.). Experience with database systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Firebase). UI/UX design knowledge and responsive web design.
